I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in General Psychology through Capella University in March of 2019. I continued my studies with Spring Arbor University and completed a Master of Arts in Counseling in May of 2022. I am a member of the American Counselors Association and am a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.
I gained my clinical experience in mental health counseling and group therapy through internship with Cornerstone Counseling where I served adolescents, adults, and seniors with anxiety, depression, behavioral addiction, marital distress, and grief therapy. My theoretical orientation is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Evidence-based interventions from this and other models of therapy are chosen based on the individual needs and preferences of the client.
