With over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, I have had the privilege of supporting some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community. At Cornerstone Counseling, I continue this journey, helping clients discover their passions, strengths, purpose, and journey to a hopeful and fulfilling life.
My approach to therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I adapt my methods to suit each individual client. Together, we will find what works best for you as you embark on your journey.
I am deeply committed to our community. I serve as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Oceana County for children in foster care and am an active Rotarian. I also enjoy working with food pantries and community gardening initiatives to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food.
Outside of my professional life, I am married with two children and three grandchildren. Our family loves spending time outdoors, whether at the beach, camping, hiking, or fishing. We also have two lively golden retrievers and a spirited cat named Harriett. In my downtime, I enjoy reading and catching up on the latest TV shows. The twenty years I have called West Michigan my home has inspired me with its beauty.
