About Lindsay Ware LLPC

Lindsay Hi there (Aloha)! For many people finding a good counselor can be overwhelming. Let me introduce myself, I believe you will find that I am a qualified and a caring counselor.

My name is Lindsay Ware. I graduated from Cornerstone University with a master's degree in counseling.

My training includes:
· An internship in play therapy at Bethany Christian Services.
· Working in the school systems as well as Pine Rest Child & adolescent impatient care for four years.
· Specializing in Adlerian play therapy which involves working with parents and schools. In which, I will receive a certificate for this in the coming year. I want to help all kids thrive in their environments.
· I have taken many courses on Filial play, CBT in the playroom, neuroscience, sensory processing, Sand tray, and sexual trauma. These are for my play therapy certificate.
· Studying neurodivergent brains by taking continuing education courses on ADHD, Autism, OCD, and, ODD.
· I specialize in suicide prevention.
· I have completed a one-week intensive training in Eye Moment Desensitization Response (EMDR) and specialize in women’s issues. I have helped train one domestic violence course at Bridge to Life Ministries, and I volunteer for the Hopes project. I will take another course on EMDR working with Children.
· I will finish up my full LPC license this year.

I have a passion for working with people from different cultures. I love keeping active by kayaking, boating, and lifting weights. I also like to travel; Hawaii being my favorite place to visit so far. I like to find healthy ways to live such as eating nutritious food and working out. Relationships are important to me, so I love to make time for friends and family and church.

I have devoted my life to Jesus Christ. He is the real counselor, but just as Jesus walked along side many non-Christians, I do the same. I have worked with many Christians and non-Christians, that have had a variety of beliefs. I welcome people from all faiths. I want my room and environment to be safe for everyone on their healing journey.

In Hawaii, Aloha means hello, and goodbye, so...

Aloha!
