No one wants to be in emotional pain, feel anxious, or sad. We all want to have healthy relationships and equally desire to feel content and loved. At some point, however, we all experience pain due to grief, tragedy, or some other unforeseen circumstance. I am here to tell you that there is hope, peace, and understanding within your grasp. I'm not saying that it is simple or easy to face pain, but success is absolutely possible and achievable.  Life's journey can be filled with happiness and a sense of fulfillment but continued growth and the willingness to challenge one's self is always a prerequisite.

I have worked with families, adolescents and children for over 20 years. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Limited Licensed Psychologist and a Family Life Educator. For me, counseling is more than just a job or career; it is a calling.  Over the years I have worked with juvenile detention centers, halfway houses, churches and in the prison system. I spent many years on the streets helping runaways, gang members, and their hurting families. I specialize in areas that directly affect the family unit such as crisis intervention, spiritual growth, marital difficulties, parenting, adolescents and children with behavioral and/or criminal backgrounds, mid-life issues, AD/HD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, substance abuse, bipolar and a myriad of other problematic areas.  As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) my approach to counseling is integrative, supportive, collaborative, educational and of course, compassionate.  Together, as a team, we will develop purposeful goals and objectives and define what tools will be needed to achieve success.  Please let us know how we can help you experience joy, peace, and happiness.
