About Ashley Schleh

I am a therapist who believes healing is an act of authorship. Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and other integrative approaches, I help people reframe their relational stories so healing, safety, and soulful repair can take center stage. My work is informed by a background in ministry, and my daily practice as a mother of two and a wife. I know what it feels like to steward a family, maintain friendships, and hold boundaries around personal values and identity as life’s ups and downs spiral around you. It is not easy work, and we all get out of balance sometimes.

My Approach:

• Narrative as medicine: I treat your life like a story in progress; tender toward the wounds, uncompromising about the possibility of a new chapter.

• Rituals for repair: We build reproducible rituals and a narrative that shifts how you show up to yourself and others.

• Collaborative and direct: I hold steady attention to patterns and offer clear, compassionate invitations toward change.

What Working Together Looks Like:

We begin by mapping the story you’re telling yourself about the problem; its characters, consequences, and recurring scenes. Using EFT, we find the emotional moments that hold the pattern in place and gently work to transform them into opportunities for connection. You will leave sessions with specific practices, short rituals, language shifts, and boundary experiments, that translate therapy into everyday life.

My intention is not to fix you, but to help you become the healing person in your own story.

Who I Help:

• Couples seeking to move from disconnection with one another to a secure, loving partnership.

• Parents navigating the balance of connection and correction with their children.

• Individuals carrying grief, shame, or the “villain chapter” after relational loss who want to reclaim authorship over their story.

•Individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD or other mental health concerns who want to take back their power over their lives.

•Individuals with a history of religious trauma, religious abuse, hostile staff culture, or deep woundings of faith who need a safe space to wrestle out life’s big questions.

•Women who have had miscarriages, infertility issues, pregnancy or labor trauma, who are picking up the pieces of themselves and wanting to know how to begin to live again.

•Individuals in big transitions. For example: if you are a young adult about to attend college, a parent becoming an empty nester, becoming a parent for the first time, leaving a job, suffering parental loss, etc.

Values and Commitments:

• Honesty: I have honest yet compassionate eyes when gazing at your story. I will speak from a space of perspective with kindness.

• Dignity: I protect your voice and agency; no shaming, no quick fixes.

• Repair over blame: I center repair as the active lifeline of relationships.

• Practical spirituality: I am comfortable with existential questions and spiritual practices while staying clinically rigorous.

• Family-forward: I respect the complex logistics and tender politics of family life.

•Cultural Competency: I strive to educate myself on all backgrounds of life and cultural perspectives. Individuals are safe to inform me on areas I may lack cultural insight and I welcomingly incorporate their knowledge into my session.

If This Resonates:

If you are ready to move from isolation to having intentional presence in your interpersonal relationships; to transform a painful chapter into a resilient arc; to learn rituals that make health possible; or to begin a new scene in your life where heavy emotions like anxiety or depression are not the main character, I would be honored to walk with you.
